Cryptoparty is a decentralized movement with events held worldwide. The goal of the event is to share knowledge and information on how to take control of your own digital space. This can include encrypted communications, avoiding tracking and surveillance during web searches, and general security tips for computers and mobile devices.
The event took place on October 19 in Quito, Ecuador, at the Casa de la Cultura and was organized by the Centro de Autonomía Digital. During the event, there were several learning tables. Reverse Everything participated as a speaker at the booth ‘Privacy, Anonymity, and the Use of VPNs: How to Protect Your Digital Life.’ The event was free and open to the general public.
